Supercheeks!
Posted on October 28, 2010
I love this baby. Booooy did he do some serious growing between sessions! I’m in shock that he’s already 3 months old, I’m in shock that he changed so much, but I’m REALLY in shock over the fact that he’s wearing the same size diapers as my 21-month old son! He’s such a big champ… already the size of most 6-month olds. It would be easy to go on and on about his size, but it’s also just as easy to go on and on about his cuteness. His blue eyes lightened up a bit since his last visit and he still has the most perfect mouth… and I couldn’t get over his fuzzy new-baby hair! He knows how to light up a room:
I tried a new angle for this next shot:
I love his hair! He almost looks like a little cartoon baby:
Naptime? No problem…
This next photo clearly illustrates the reason behind my title for this post:
Waking up happy… pure bliss right here:
The blanket in the photo (above) was made with love by a dear friend of mine at Sara Smile Creations.
This next one makes me laugh. Such a mature expression for a THREE month old baby:
To his proud parents: I just adore this boy of yours. He looks like one of you in the photo above, but I can’t figure out which one… maybe you can tell? Thanks for letting me squeeze on his chubber-rolls as much as I wanted to. I hope you like your preview… the rest will be finished soon!

Little Heart Melter
Posted on October 23, 2010
AAAAA!! I’m behind on this blog! Among other things (like going a week without childcare, for example), one reason why I didn’t get this posted when I intended to is because I spent forever sorting through tons of great shots. It was almost impossible to choose only a few favorites to work on for this preview. (Which is why I ended up with 12 photos when I usually have 9 and I always try to limit it to 6. Maybe if Iwasn’t my own boss, it wouldn’t be so easy to bend my own rules?) But, I’m sure no one will complain about extra preview photos, right?
Anyway, on with the cute stuff! Cute as in… this little big guy named…
If you get within a few feet of this boy, your heart will be doing some serious melting. All you have to do is LOOK at him and he rewards you with THIS:
See what I mean?! And he’s so soft and squishy; I just love to squeeze on him. His skin is perfection, too. And, who doesn’t love a baby with eyes that smile as much as his mouth?! *SWOON*
… and just when you think he can’t get any cuter, he makes THIS face:
Drool on the chin is my favorite baby accessory.
I love his chubby wrist:
I can’t stand it, OK?!
They don’t have to be newborns to sleep in my studio. See?
I haaaad to add a couple favorites of his beautiful big sister, too:
And now for the drumroll… my favorite brother/sister shot to date. (Insert jealous pang. I MUST get a photo like this of my two babies. Sara, I am giving you permission to get on my case. I know you will- ha!)
I just love this…
I love these little ones SO much… they are like family to me. To their mother, a very good friend of mine, I know you love these and thanks so much for your patience!
Cute and Fun
Posted on October 17, 2010
When I first laid eyes on these people, I somehow KNEW we would have a blast. There was so much fun and carrying on… the boys barely noticed that I had a camera in my face. Cute brothers!!
And all together, they make for a really cute family:

One of my goals in life is to get a great family photo like that of my own family… a goal that most people would understandably assume to be an easy one to obtain/reach/achieve… but naw… That would require finding time to get around to it! (Note to self: Book appointment with…self.)
Then we have a SWEET baby brother growing faster than his parents can imagine, so I was so glad I was able to work them in for this session. I love how his new little tooth made a debut just in time for these photos:
Happiest baby on the block? I think SO:

Little Mr. 3-year-old with big-kid hair (that I tried to mimic for my own son, but it turned into a sticky mess) was having so much fun, he never realized I was taking pictures. He reminds me of the little boy in the book, “I Love You Through and Through” by Bernadette Rossetti-Shustak. He wanted me to give him a great big hug here:
Okay, okay… truth be known, he really just wanted me to launch some balls at him.
Request fulfilled. INCOMING!

And let me tell you something. Boy can swing. He only held this bat for about 60 seconds because his parents were worried something would end up getting broken. I love how this turned out:
It was soooo nice to meet you all. What wonderful, well-behaved little ones you have. I had so much fun laughing with you. I want you to know… I spent hours sorting through your photos trying to decide on some favorites to work on for this blog… I almost had to use the eeny-meeny-miney-moe method. I hope you enjoy your preview- I appreciate your extreme patience… the rest will be finished soon!
Precious Pair
Posted on October 12, 2010
What precious girls! One looks like a doll baby (I’m pretty sure my daughter has a doll that has the same perfect face) and she loved being in front of my lights.

The other one has a gorgeous collection of curls and a mind like she’s 2 going on 12. She reminded me of my daughter because she was so observant and loved to describe everything around her. I also had to keep asking her mother if she was really 2 because she was so obedient! Two-year olds are usually the most difficult age to photograph, but she proved otherwise.
It’s easy to see how much she loves her baby sister. The two of them make a precious pair…
The little flower headband in this next photo is available for use in my studio.

There’s nothing cuter than a baby doing a little leisurely thumb-sucking under a tree:

Although, a little girl in a pretty dress dancing under a tree is pretty cute, too:
OHHHH, and I just had to throw in one extra (even though I’m “supposed” to only post 5 photos, I have so much trouble narrowing it down to only 5, so I always end up doing about 9… well, what the heck, let’s make it 10 today. It will make up for the fact that I couldn’t post this blog yesterday as planned… due to my internet being down.) She makes for a very nice vintage baby!
To their parents: It was so nice to meet you all… I was very impressed with the behavior of your little ones. I love how one looks like daddy and one looks like mommy. If you plan to have a third child, perhaps that one will be a combo! Thanks for a great session… the rest of your photos will be finished soon!
