Beamer | Spring Hill, TN Baby Photography
Posted on March 18, 2012
With a smile that was almost bigger than the boy himself, he beamed at me the minute I said hello. *Knees be weak* And, it didn’t stop there. He beamed at me the entire time I was talking to his parents, too. It was as distracting as it was cute. I mean, YOU try to plan a session and sort through outfits while a little cutie throws smiles at you so big you can see them out the corner of your eye!
Yes, he comes with big smiles, this happy little Beamer.
But, the little smiles are just as cute:
Then, for some variety, I asked him to show me the face he uses when he asks his parents for a pony:
And a silly goober-face for good measure:
And this face is the precious one. So, so precious:
What a sweet little pile of darling baby boy:
To his parents: I’m so lucky to have so many great clients like you. We have a great time, conversation is easy, and you’re very go-with-the-flow. Combine that with your little Beamer Boy and I am a very happy photographer. Thanks for sharing your baby with me… I can’t wait to see how much he grows before his next appointment! I hope you like your preview- the rest will be finished soon!
Little Boy-ness | Spring Hill, TN Children Photography

Look at him… there’s so much little boy-ness about him, I just love it.
He exuuuuudes little boy-ness. See, one of my own kids just so happens to be a little boy. So, I recognize little boy-ness. I understand it… and I love it.
Check out Mr. Big Stride:
But, for adventurous little boys… nothing stops big strides like a simple dandelion:
But, during this session, we knew this little boy wouldn’t be looking so little for long…
But, even though the word “big” would soon be associated with him and the word “brother”… his hand was still little in his mommy’s:
Oh, this little boy. He is one of the darling ones.
And I just know he is going to be the best big brother.
To his mama: I just love you! If we had some free time on our hands, we could be besties, I just know it. The love you have for your little boy just radiates off of you, and I know you have just as much love for your new baby girl. I’m SO excited to meet her and photograph her tomorrow! I’m glad we did this little session to capture your little boy and all his little boy-ness before he became a big brother. I know it warms your heart.
The Silly and the Serious | Spring Hill, TN Child and Baby Photography
Posted on March 11, 2012
Two blondies. The older Silly and the younger Serious. Each lovely in their own way. To be honest, it was almost more cuteness than I could stand.
Miss Silly was all smiles. Just like the last time I photographed her, I was greeted with the greatest of grins. You can’t help but to love her. And to want to keep her. I really thought about putting her in my pocket and taking her home.
These eyes… good gracious, these eyes!
Now, Miss Serious was a thinking machine. I could see the wheels turning. There was a whole orchestra of smartness inside that little fuzzy head of hers. There was also a depth to her that most babies aren’t complex enough to possess at the tender age of 10 months. Such a pretty little thinker.
Ohhh, but she was FAST. And once she decided to leave, she would leave on a dime, with no warning of her instant departure. Needless to say, she kept her mama on her toes.
Here is a shot of when she surprised us all by decideding to hold still AND be a little less serious:
Little girl KNOWS… what colors go on toes. (To her mama… please remind me what color this is. It is very “me”.)
Put these sisters together, and it’s an overload of cuteness at it’s finest.
To their parents: I love how the two of you consist of a Silly and a Serious, too. I can see where the little one’s get it. Ha! They sure are wonderful and you are doing a fine job of raising them. (And chasing after them). I hope you like your preview- the rest will be finished soon!
Two + One = Family | Spring Hill, TN Family Photography

I just love this little toddle tot, and when you put him between his two wonderful parents, it paints a very pretty picture. A harmonious one. Ah, harmonious-ness…. I like that.
Now, I’m not mentioning any names, but someone was a bit shy at first:
It wasn’t long before he turned his Shy Face into his Look-at-How-Cute-I-Am Face. I love ALL their faces! Hello, sweet family:
Little man was all over the place. He was very interested in my heater. He thought it was a hair dryer and he kept asking to dry his hair. Cutest kid ever.
You can bet your life I was acting gooberish the whole time… especially when I shot this next one:
And even though this was a family session… I couldn’t resist grabbing one of this face alone. Makes me want to reach down and pick him up. Hi, little love…
To this family: I adore you all and I hope you like your preview! I love that you said it’s like waiting for Christmas or a birthday when waiting for your photos! *warm fuzzies* Well, the “big day” is here… and the rest will be finished soon!
