Show Stopper | Spring Hill, TN Baby Photography

Hold up, hold up– hooold up. Stop everything. Just looka here:
If that’s not a cute little boy being a cute little boy, than I don’t know what is.
With a face like this… he is definitely a show stopper:
How many babies have had 9 haircuts (NINE!) before their first birthday? I’m going to say not many. But this little guy has. You believe it, too, don’t you?
As if his luxurious locks weren’t enough to make me swoon to the moon, he had other phenomenal features as well. Dark lashes over shiny eyes, perfect carmel-y skin and cheeEEEeeeks! All the ingredients for some delicious baby eye candy, wouldn’t you say?
I’m smitten and he knows it.
His personality was the cherry on top, though. Boisterous and giddy, he laughed at me as much as I laughed at him. It was almost more than I could stand. (Just ask his parents and Grandma… I can’t count how many times I yelled, “I can’t STAND IT!!”) He was beyond adorable.
Oh, and he took it upon himself to pose:
What a charming and loveable little Show Stopper.
To his family: It was so nice to meet you all. I think there was enough laughter in my studio to peel the wallpaper downstairs. I could easily have spent the entire day with you all. Thanks so much for sharing your Show Stopper with me. Remember what I said about getting him into modeling? I am 150 % serious. Do it! He loves the camera and the camera loves him.

Little “L-Who” who was no more than two… stoleth my heart yet again:
Do I have a sign out front that says, “Little ones with longest lashes, gather here”? I have seen some of the most amazing lashes on little ones. Hers go on and on. Combine that with her perfect skin and youthful glow… Well, Daddy get your shotgun ready… and boys be warned.
Smart things come in small packages. She knew all her colors and she was counting and talking with the sweetest little voice. Darling, indeed. She loved carrying the balls around saying, “tree baws… tree bwoo baws.” I think she’s going to be organized like her mama.
She loved Puffs, too. Everyone loves the Puffs.
Hi, sweet girl…
We went outside for a bit, too. I love how the little things that we often overlook… can stop a toddler in their tracks.
To her parents: It’s still hard for me to believe that your tiny two-year-old (Two Tiny) is now a BIG sister. What a darling family you make! It was a blast acting like goobers together. Even though your little one’s agenda didn’t include much smiling, at least we cracked each OTHER up. Oh, and let’s not forget… she cracked us up, too.
Once Upon a Time | Spring Hill, TN Maternity Photography

Once upon a time, it was her wedding day…
(And once upon a time, I shot weddings).
She was a stunning bride and I think you’ll agree, she makes an equally stunning mama-to-be. (I read my kids Dr.Seuss tonight, so my head is stuck in rhyme mode. Just be glad I’m using normal words.)
This is glow. The best glow I know.
Spring symbolizes new beginnings… just like pregnancy. That’s why I love this next one.
(I know, I know… the tulips are an indication of how behind I am on my blogging. IthinkIcanIthinkIcanIthinkIcan…)
She’s so, so pretty.
It was an honor and a privilege to photograph their wedding… and now, to see them anxiously awaiting the arrival of their baby boy… I really can’t put it into words. (And I sure as heck know that Dr. Seuss-type words wouldn’t suffice.) These two are every bit as in love as they were 4 years ago. And they are the kind of people this world could use more of. Good, good people.
They brought along the special bible that they have been reading to the baby. This is just so sweet and so … THEM. *warm fuzzy*
This next shot is a very popular one because I have a 24×36 on my studio wall of it. It never gets redundant for me. Never.
And while we’re talkin’ silhouettes, here is a look at her wedding and her pregnancy side-by-side.
To the parents-to-be… I can’t say enough about you two. What an honor that you drove such a long way for this maternity session. You are a very special couple and I am SO SO soooOOOO excited for you. There is nothing more wonderful than a baby on the way. You are about to experience a love like you never imagined. Deep and true… exciting and new… I’m so happy, so happy, so happy for you! (Dr. Seuss… still there.) Thanks for the tons of laughs during your session. I’ll be anxious to hear your news soon!

An early walker, she didn’t do the normal toddle totting that I’m used to seeing walking one-year-olds do. There was no wobble to her walk. She was experienced. She ran… and she danced… and she skittled around the room.
Just look at these eyes… this is a girl who knows things.
She didn’t know why she was sitting in a balloon-embellished chair, though. hehe
It’s okay… your pretty little face doesn’t need to know everything, little one.
For now, celebrate being 1 by tearing into a cake:
She knows digging into a cake isn’t a normal thing to do… “Are you sure it’s okay to do this?”
Ah, but PUFFS! Puffs are always allowed. (Look closely and you will see the Puffs.)
So much personality… I just love that pretty girl. She’s just as darling as her bows, which were lovingly made by her grandma. You should check out her Facebook page and click the “Like” button if you haven’t already. HERE you go!
And, big brother is way too cute to leave out of this post… Look at this face and try not to love him. Future heart breaker right here.
To their parents: Just wondering… are you two planning on having another baby?? Because I’m not sure the world could handle any more cuteness. (I say you should put the world up to the challenge, though.) Your kids are so cute, I really want to keep them. Thanks for bringing them in front of my camera again! As always, it was a blast.
