I'm so glad you're here

My passion for photography is genuine in that my heart beats a little faster when I pick up my camera. For years, I have put blood, sweat and tears into this passion of mine. (You want to know about the blood, don't you? I have a story...Just ask and I'll tell.)

Yes, I'm a photographer... but I'm also a wife, a mother of two, a SLIGHT germaphobe, a perfectionist (with photography... you do NOT want to see my desk right now) and a serious goof-ball. (Is that an oxymoron?)

I'm fun, I'm REAL...I'm also real fun. Most of all, I'M GLAD YOU'RE HERE... (and I secretly love you for it) Thanks for stopping by.

When moments cannot be put into words, let the photography do the talking.

These precious kiddos put me to work.  But, I’m proud to say… despite how smart they were,  they fell for all my tricks.  Whahahahahaaaa.  As a mother of another little boy and girl, I know what works.

Big Brother Boisterous was wired up with 100% boy-ish-ness.  He was all about the trucks, cars, balls…. pretty much all things rolling.  He was a little bit distracted by all that was going on in the room, so I asked his family to step into the waiting room so we could have some one-on-one time.  Worked like a charm.  I just love when they get my jokes.

I love kids in glasses!

Little sister Sugar Bean was every bit as sweet as her nickname.  She was as much girl as her brother was boy.  I love to see the natural differences between the genders.  I notice it with my own kids.  She was all about the babies and the beads and couldn’t care less about all things rolling.

Good thing I know the words to some Tangled songs. Stopped her in her tracks and got her eyes lookin’ right at me.  It was a funny moment.

This face!  Mega cute.

And this is (by far) my favorite photo of the two of them together.  She didn’t want to have anything to do with him. It cracks me up. I love real.

To their parents: You all were great fun… such beautiful kids you have, too.  I’m so glad you booked this appointment waaaay back when you did.  Did I mention your kids are beautiful?
