Snuggler | Spring Hill, TN Newborn Photography
Posted on October 1, 2012
When I held him, he folded himself against me… he nestled in and got comfy in my arms. A Snuggler. I LooOOOoove that… with a capital L. (yeah, and extra O’s).
I snagged this cradle at the Kidz Klozet Consignment Sale for 5 bucks. I liked it then. Once I put this baby in it… all that like turned to love.
Snuggler slept the entire time and he never really cried. But, every now and then, he would let out a screech like a Pterodactyl. (Gosh, that word must make for spelling bee hell.) A sound that was definitely distinct to him as I have never heard a sound quite like it. His parents prepared me for it, before he even did it. It was cute and hilarious all at once.
I love those dark little eyelash sprigs. And his skin was unbelievable… not one single scratch… not one single anything. Just pure perfection. He was such a good, obedient little boy. He didn’t even have a single accident.
His signature ” Thinkin’ ” pose…
And some sweet and simple newborn-ness….
Blog post overload, I know. I really had a hard time choosing only 6 or 7. I can bend my own rules from time to time, right? K, good. Here’s more.
His daddy brought one of his guitars… I love personalization like this.
Sweet, handsome, perfect little man…
To his mama: Your baby wasn’t even 2 weeks old yet, and somehow… you walked into my studio with a completely flat belly. *high five, both hands* (High ten, then.) What a stunning new mama. To his daddy: Are you sure you aren’t a photographer’s assistant on the side? I never expect anyone to help me so much and you went above and beyond on pure instinct alone. *High ten* for you, too. And, thanks for the laughs. You two were so much fun to talk to and I was impressed with the comfort level of your parenting skills. *Group hug.* It was so nice meeting you and I hope you like your preview. The rest will be finished soon!
